A new twist on 2 old favorites…

Since the New Year, I’ve been making it a point to eat healthier. I’ve been doing great… since I started back on my “life change” (I hate the word “diet”), I’m already down 6 pounds! That’s all of the “holiday weight” that I gained from Thanksgiving thru New Year’s. So that’s great! And I’m super motivated, so I have faith that I’ll lose the rest of what I gained over the fall when I fell off the wagon.

But sometimes, you just need something with carbs & cheese.

New Year’s Resolutions

Howdy friends! I wasn’t kidding when I said “be on a lookout for a post this weekend”! I’m so proud of myself – haha.

So I know we’re 13 days into the New Year, but what better time than (n)ever to bring up the ‘ol New Year’s Resolutions. Ya’ know, it’s funny – this year I heard a lot of people saying that they don’t make resolutions because they don’t need to wait until some “special day” to hit the reset button or anything like that. Maybe I’ve heard it before, but this was the first year that it really stood out to me & I heard it from multiple people.

Good Morning! As you may have noticed, I took a bit of a hiatus from the ‘ol blog over the Holidays. I don’t know what it was, but more than any other year of my life – I had the busiest holiday season EVER! I had all of these holiday driven ideas that I wanted to blog about – crafts, baking, traditions – and it just didn’t happen.

No worries though – one of my goals for 2013 is to visit the blog more often. Be on the lookout for a post this weekend (fingers crossed!).
